Activities

There are so many great activities that your Young People can try out. You may need permits or have to use external providers to run some of them.

To help our members the County supports with:

  • Adventurous Activity Permit Holders who can help you run activity session
  • Training courses so you can become a permit holder and run your own activities
  • Regular County events and details of District events
  • Mountain activities including hill walking and climbing weekends for young people and adults

If you still can’t find the information you need then send an email to heretohelp@scoutshw.org.uk with more information on what you’d like to do. We’ll direct your email to the appropriate County Team member.

Have fun and adventure while still keeping safe.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
