10B First Response Practical – Bromsgrove

Date: 5th March 2022 Morning Event Location: 3rd Bromsgrove Scout HQ LTM: Mel Brammer

This is a short 20 minute session where you demonstrate to our assessors that you can carry out the practical elements of First Aid, such as CPR.

This is the final element of your First Response Training.

To sign on to this course you must have completed both Part 1 (2.5 hr e-learning) and Part 2 (2.5 hr Zoom course) of the Blended First Response model (this should have been recorded on your Compass record by our County First Aid Training Team).

Please book on using the form below by 1st March to allow us to allocate time slots and ensure we have enough trainers for the number of participants. Thank you.

The course will take place at 3rd Bromsgrove Scout HQ, Kidderminster Road, Bromsgrove, B61 7JZ. You will be allocated a 20 minute time slot which will be sent to you by the 2nd March (which will also confirm the venue).

You do not need to wear Scout uniform, but as this training requires you to demonstrate CPR and recovery position, comfortable clothing is advised.

If you have any questions, or require any special arrangements, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our County Training Administrator on mark.strain@scoutshw.org.uk

We look forward to seeing you.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
