Come and find out how to lead a fire like a pro!  Collect great skills and great materials and then put it all into practice!

The purpose of the Course is to introduce you to leading a campfire for young people and adults.  It will cover a range of topics including:

  • planning and coordination,
  • safety and safeguarding
  • managing and setting up the site,
  • building various types of campfires,
  • demonstrating the traditions and customs of appropriate songs, yarns and yells.

The participants will put on a campfire on Saturday evening.

There are only 18 places on the course so early booking is recommended.

Indoor accommodation in dormitories is available and all meals from Friday supper to Sunday breakfast are included.

Participants who wish to camp can do so on a site adjacent to the Activity Centre.
