POSTPONED – Train the Trainer – Facilitating and Presenting (Modules 28 and 29)

Unfortunately we have not had enough bookings to make this a viable course.  If you would be interested in doing the facilitating and presenting modules, please contact Mark.strain@scoutshw.org.uk and ask to be added to a waiting list for the next course.

These modules are the required training for anybody wishing to be a trainer in The Scouts, including those wishing to be a County Trainer (First Aid).

In the Facilitating (28) module you will learn how to:

  • relate to and communicate with others in a learning situation
  • work with small groups and individuals
  • help individuals to solve problems

In the Presenting (29) module you will learn how to:

  • set and understand the purpose of a presentation
  • use learning methods, resources and facilities appropriately
  • deliver a presentation and monitor your audience
  • collect and use feedback

This training will be delivered in person at Perdiswell Young People’s Leisure Centre in Worcester, and is open to anybody in Scouts Hereford and Worcester who wishes to help deliver training, and also those from other neighbouring Counties.  There may be a small charge to those from other Counties to cover catering at lunchtime.  If you are attending from another County and would like some suggestions for overnight accommodation, please mention this to our County Training Administrator who will be able to offer some suggestions.
