Activity Centre Service Activity Badge

Scout Activity Centres thrive on teamwork, friendship and outdoor adventure. Scouts and Explorers can develop their campsite management skills and help our centre continue to inspire, all whilst earning an activity badge!

At Kinver Camp, we have a variety of volunteering work on our campsite that is suitable for Scouts and Explorers to assist with. This can be done as a day visit or can be built into your group camp’s programme.

Previously groups have helped us with tree planting, painting, site clearance, wood collecting, recycling, making bookings and more! In return, these groups have benefitted from discounted camping and activity sessions during their stay.

Please contact us for more information and to discuss visits.

More information on the activity badge criteria can be found here:

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
