Climate Emergency

Today is World Environment Day & we have an exciting announcement for you!

As part of The Scouts Promise to the Planet we, Scouts Hereford & Worcester are declaring a climate and ecological emergency. We are taking these steps to make a clear, formal, public announcement of understanding of the urgency & seriousness of our climate emergency.
That isn’t it though, we want you to join us in this declaration in your sections, groups & units to show our local communities that actions needs to be taken and we can make a difference!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
