You’re Invited to Set Sail with Us at the Grand County Cub Camp!

Prepare to embark on an adventure where the land meets the sea at Warren Oak, Ledbury, for our most thrilling County Cub Camp yet! Mark your calendars for a weekend filled with treasure hunts, giant water fights, and the camaraderie of the county campfire. But beware, for only the most daring pirates will navigate through a host of self-led activities and adventurous challenges awaiting them.

Camp Details:

• Date: 14th – 16th June 2024
• Cost: £35 per Cub (YL & Leaders voyage for free!)
• Food: Not included, hearty rations to be provided by each group
• Registration Deadline: 12th April 2024
• Invoicing: We will invoice your group for the registered numbers by the 21st April 2024.
• Payment Due: All payments must be made by 12th May 2024 to ensure your spot is secured on this grand adventure. Please ensure prompt payment to keep the ship afloat!

Highlights Include:

• Giant Pirate Water Fight: A battle for the seven seas!
• County Campfire: Join us for an evening of songs, stories, and warmth.
• Adventure Awaits: A mix of self-led activities and thrilling adventurous pursuits.

Gala Table Gala:
In the spirit of discovery and fellowship, each section attending will need to provide a gala table on the afternoon of the camp. This is your chance to shine by creating a table top exercise that embodies the spirit of adventure and teamwork. Cubs will rotate in their sixes, spending 15 minutes at each gala table, ensuring a bounty of fun and learning. Details on the budget for your table will be provided, based on the number of attending pirates.

We’re also calling all leaders to join the Programme Implementation Team. Help us steer the ship and create an unforgettable adventure for our young buccaneers. Your expertise and enthusiasm are what make these events truly special.
