Scouts Help Our Climate – An open day for leaders and young leaders

Date: 12th June 2022 Location: University of Worcester Conference Centre, St John’s Campus

Join us to explore how Scouts Hereford and Worcester can respond to making a difference to our climate. Explore different ways from small steps to the larger actions you can take.

Meet a whole host of specialists, professionals and guest speakers and understand from different ideas and perspectives what’s going on in the world around us and also in our local community and groups.

Have tools and ideas to take back to your groups and young peoples. Lots of takeaways on programme ideas for Squirrels to Network members.

This event is open to all leaders and young leaders from Scouts Hereford and Worcester.

The day will consist of a variety of workshops and practical activities based on climate and biodiversity. Not only will you learn how to play your part in the fight against climate change, but we will also give you ideas and activities to take away to your own groups.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
