County AGM 2023

Date: 27th September 2023 Location: Norbury Theatre, Droitwich Spa
NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the County Scout Council for Scouts Hereford and Worcester will take place on Wednesday 27th September, 7.30pm at Norbury Theatre, Droitwich Spa.

Jamie, our County Chair is pleased to invite all members to join the meeting. Every adult member holding a County member appointment will be eligible to vote or show approval.
District Commissioners, District Youth Commissioners, District Trustee Board Chairs, Secretaries, Treasurers and Active Support Managers also have vote.
This year’s AGM will be run according to the updated POR (July 2023) reflecting the changes of transformation.
The County will adopt a new constitution and agree the quorum for Council and Trustee Board meetings.
Norbury Theatre has kindly allowed us to use its venue in Droitwich, which will be a first – and a nice change! Please join us for the short AGM and a bit of social/networking  afterwards.

Norbury Theatre, Droitwich Spa

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
