County Leader Walking Day

This is one of a series of County Leader Walking Days aimed at adult Leaders and Helpers.  A chance to improve your walking skills or just a pleasant day out? Both options are applicable.

19th April – Hay Bluff, Brecon Beacons – Walk taking in the two Black Mountains peaks of Hay Bluff and Lord Hereford’s Knob with the option to extend to the third peak of Rhos Dirion. Good practice for hiking in terrain 1.

Walkers should wear suitable walking gear for the conditions including waterproofs and boots and bring with them packed lunch, drinks, and spare warm clothing including hat, gloves and scarf. The temperature at the top of mountains can be 5 to 10 degrees colder than at the bottom.
