National Small-bore Rifle Association Youth Proficiency Scheme Tutors’ Diploma – Crossbow

Course Details

This equips candidates to run have-a-go sessions in crossbow shooting and also to take young people for introduction to crossbow shooting over a longer period. It is the standard qualification used by the Scout Association and is written into The Scouts POR (operating procedures).

The qualification lasts for five years but can then be renewed via NSRA. At the point of renew a full logbook must be presented.

This course is open to any adult member over 21.

Times – 9.00 to 5.00 both days

Tutors – A qualified tutor from the National Small-bore Rifle Association.

Course Fee – £90.00.  Adult leaders from Hereford & Worcester Scout County are able to claim this fee back from the County providing they attend the course in full.  The course fee includes hot and cold drinks but participants must provide their own packed lunch on both days. For those who require it, overnight camping and indoor accommodation (subject to availability) are free.
