Kinver Camp consists of 23 acres of woodland with glades and open areas forming individual camping sites.

The 11 camp sites are complemented by the Chief’s Lodge, Jim Jukes Cabin, Harcourt Webb Cabin, Compa Hall, Albert All and Simmons Cabins for those requiring indoor accommodation.

See more information about our indoor accommodation here Accommodation | Scouts Hereford & Worcester (scoutshw.org.uk) and our camping pitches here Microsoft Word – Our Camp Sites (scoutshw.org.uk)

The site also offers a fire shelter, shop, laundry and large toilet/shower facility.

This site is open all year to members of the Scout Association and all other recognised youth organisations and Associations. Other associations/groups need to contact the Operations Manager to discuss their requirements before booking.

This is not a public camp site and therefore we cannot take bookings from individual members for the public or the use of the facilities unless they require the whole site for a private event.

Activities

The site has an air rifle range, activity tower (climbing, abseiling and zip wire), archery & crossbow range, crate stacking, small orienteering course, arrows archery kit, Bat detectors, grass sledges, slack lines, a covered campfire circle and a stock of pioneering poles with ropes. These are all available for use by our campers and day visitors.

More information about our activities can be found here – Activities | Scouts Hereford & Worcester (scoutshw.org.uk)

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
