OBE Results are in…

Date: 24th Oct 2022 Author: Lynn Lee

Operation Bald Eagle made a welcome return to the Scouting calendar in October and 340 Scouts competed in 61 teams for the coveted trophy.

Participants and volunteers had a fantastic weekend in cold, but clear conditions, and it was evident that everyone was doing their best and enjoying themselves after a 2-year break during the pandemic.

The winning Patrol is the one that gains the most points across all three parts of the competition – The Friday Night Challenge, Day Challenge (30 bases) and finally the OBE Night Hike (16 bases on a 7-mile hike  in and around the Rhydd Covert area). Points are earned for good teamwork as well as for successfully completing the challenges.

So here’s what you want to know:

2nd    Selsley Sharks (Selsley) with 1908 points
