Free OSM for all Sections/Units in ScoutsHW

Scouts Hereford and Worcester supports volunteers with administration by
providing Online Scout Manager (OSM) at Gold Level for all Sections and Units.

Using OSM

If you do not yet have OSM please visit www.onlinescoutmanager.co.uk for information.

To register your group and/or section(s) please visit https://www.onlinescoutmanager.co.uk/register.php

You will be able to sign up to the Silver level for up to 6 months for free and test the system. Then, you can use the discount code to upgrade to Gold membership.

What details can County and Districts see in my OSM Account?

Districts and County cannot see any young person’s data on your OSM account unless they are specifically added as a leader to that Section or Group Account. However, Districts and County will be provided with a statistical dashboard showing certain statistics, from the number of badges completed to number of events being run.

Training

If you would like training on OSM features and use there are lots of tutorials in the programme online. These can be found by clicking on “Help” in the top right hand corner.

Using the Discount Code

1) The same code works for all Sections/Units

2) Login to OSM, go to Settings on the bottom left of the screen, click Upgrades then Discount Codes and enter the code below *

3) Please ensure you inform other leaders and your GLV/DLV that you are using the code

4) The code will auto-renew each year until further notice

5) Sometimes County runs out of pre-paid OSM code vouchers and the code may not work – if this happens, please email HereToHelp

NB. If you have already paid for your OSM subscription, neither the County nor OSM offers a refund on the items you have already purchased. The code will apply to your next renewal. Please apply the code immediately so it can auto-renew when your current subscription expires.
