Scouts Hereford & Worcester declare a Climate & Ecological Emergency. Find out more... HERE

Scout Activities

We want Scouts to explore the Earth systems and recognise what contributes to climate change (greenhouse gases).

We also want Scouts to realise how interconnected climate change issues are (habitat loss, biodiversity loss, resource depletion, conflict).

We want Scouts to feel empowered by their role in facing climate change and how being a member of the worldwide family of Scouting sets them up to be a Climate Hero.

Nature and the outdoors are languages that can be learned. Once you identify a beech tree, tie a clove hitch or cook a simple meal over a fire that you’ve built yourself, you’ll never forget it.'
