Leaders’ Hillwalking Day – Long Mynd

Date: 26th January 2025 Location: Long Mynd, Shropshire

Hillwalking days are for anyone! The walks are led by experienced hillwalking permit holders who will be happy to pass on their knowledge and help you develop your own navigation skills.

You could use them to gain experience towards gaining your own hillwalking permit, but they are also just for those who like hillwalking and would enjoy a pleasant day out with like-minded people. Everyone is welcome.

The trips are aimed at adults, but if you wish to bring Explorers who are keen to improve their skills, please contact Mark Graham to discuss the options.

The walks will typically be 6 to 10 miles and are usually within 2 hours drive of the centre of the County.

Or if you would like further details about this walk or any others, please email Mark Graham at hillwalking@scoutshw.org.uk

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
