Training Dates

See below for learning opportunities in  Scouts Hereford and Worcester.

We are delivering a mix of face-to-face and online training.

Full details and a button to book can be found by clicking on the course name.   To avoid disappointment and allow us to plan our groupings and send you joining instructions, please ensure that you have booked on at least two days before your course.  For some courses, particularly over weekends, closing dates may be earlier. You may find helpful resources to read before your course here.

Please let us know at the earliest opportunity if you are unable to attend a course that you are booked on.

Participants from outside of Hereford and Worcester Scout County are welcome to attend our courses.  There is no cost to our online training but participants from outside the County may be asked to contribute towards catering for face-to-face courses.

Check out these pages for more information and links to Getting Started Training and Mandatory Ongoing Learning or compliance.

For more information on First Aid training, look here.

If you are looking for Adventurous Activity permit courses, check out Kinver Scout Camp or Rhydd Covert Campsite, who often offer courses in conjunction with our Activate team.

Manager and Supporter Training involves individual learning which can be accessed here, and Skills Courses run within the Region.

Nature and the outdoors are languages that can be learned. Once you identify a beech tree, tie a clove hitch or cook a simple meal over a fire that you’ve built yourself, you’ll never forget it.'
