Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme (DofE)

All about the Scout’s Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a programme of challenges for young people aged 14-25.

There are three levels (Bronze, Silver & Gold)  with four sections (Volunteering, Physical, Skill and Expedition) and an additional Residential section at Gold Level.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
