Blended First Response – Part 2

Date: 7th December 2021 Evening Event Location: online LTM: Mel Brammer

This is the second part of the Blended First Response training model and is delivered via a 2.5 hr fully interactive Zoom webinar.

To attend this training, you must first have completed Part 1, which is 2.5 hours of e-learning (click here to access).  You will not be able to attend this Zoom training if you have not first completed Part 1.

After completing Part 2, you should sign up for one of our Module 10B Practical sessions (part 3).  You will be allocated a 20 minute slot to demonstrate the practical elements of First Aid such as CPR.

At this time, this course is only available to leaders in Hereford and Worcester.  We will open up to other Counties once we have made some inroads into our First Aid training backlog and begin to have spaces available.

Please note that due to the importance of interaction on this course, we have a maximum number of 20 participants.  Mark will e-mail you back to let you know if you have been successfully booked on.  Other dates are available and if they fill up, we will be adding further dates to the calendar.  We are unable to offer any dates before the end of September as we have to get our First Aid trainers trained first!  If you would like to help us out by becoming a First Aid Trainer, please let us know.

To book on, please contact our County Training Administrator on mark.strain@scoutshw.org.uk with your name, Scout membership number, email address, role, Group and District.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
