Climbing Instructor Course (Manmade Walls & Towers)

Between: 10th October 2020 - 11th October 2020 Location: Kinver Scout Training Camp Sections: Adult Volunteer

Course Details

This is a non-qualification course designed to teach leaders the skills required for them to obtain a Scout Permit to lead this activity.

Candidates on this course will be continually assessed and at the end of the two days will be given clear direction as to how they can then progress to obtain a Scout Permit in this activity.

This course is open to any adult members and Young Leader with or without previous experience of this activity.

Times – Both days of the course run from 9.00 to 5.00

Tutors – All Tutors and Instructors on the course will be members of the County Activity Team

Safe abseiling with a group

Safe climbing with a group

Bouldering with groups

Course Fee – The course cost £45.00 for all participants, adult leaders from Hereford & Worcester Scout County are able to claim this fee back from the County providing they attend the course in full.  The course fee includes refreshments and a light lunch on both days. For those who require it overnight camping is free as is indoor accommodation (subject to availability).
