Description:  Two days walking in beautiful Snowdonia led by experienced permit holders. This is an opportunity for leaders to walk amongst the most iconic peaks in the National Park and, weather allowing, to climb to the tops.

The weekend is pitched at those who have some hillwalking and/or climbing experience and a medium-to-good level of fitness as we’ll be in the mountains all day.

It is most important that everyone has all the kit on the list so that we stay safe.

All attendees can practice their navigation, and walk leaders will be happy to help you. If you are working towards hillwalking leader permits then coaching is available. If you would like to be assessed for a hillwalking permit then this is a good opportunity.

We will confirm the routes on the weekend. There will be different options depending on ability and, of course, the weather.

Nature and the outdoors are languages that can be learned. Once you identify a beech tree, tie a clove hitch or cook a simple meal over a fire that you’ve built yourself, you’ll never forget it.'
