Top Awards Celebrations 2022

Join Our Celebration on 6th November

Now it’s time to celebrate achieving your Top Award at Scouts Hereford & Worcester’s Top Awards Day!

The event is open to all Young People who have achieved a Top Award in the past 12 months (Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs) or in the past 18th months (Scouts, Explorers, Young Leader and Network).

The day of celebration will be split by sections and is FREE to attend.

Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs

We are inviting Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs to attend from 11.30 to 12.30 and join an Awards party. Each participant will celebrate their Top Award with other young people and join in with fun and games, see a Magician and share a celebratory cake. A parent or guardian must remain with each Young Person during the session.

We will recognise Chief Scout Acorn, Bronze and Silver Awards.

Scouts, Explorers and Network

Scouts, Explorers (including Young Leaders) and Network members are invited to attend an Awards afternoon, celebrating achievements and enjoying an afternoon tea. Please arrive for 14.15 and be ready to sit down between 14.30 to 17.00 Each Young Person/Network member can bring one adult to share the celebration with them.

We will recognise Chief Scout Gold, Platinum, Diamond, King’s Scout and Queen’s Scout Awards, Young Leader Belts and Explorer Belts and Duke of Edinburgh Awards (Bronze, Silver and Gold).

  • We can only accept registered participants – PLEASE register beforehand
  • Each participant will receive a celebratory trophy or medal and a certificate

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
