New Beavers Colony Launches at Scouts 1st Malvern Wells
We are delighted to share the exciting news that a brand-new Beavers Colony has opened at Scouts 1st Malvern Wells!
The colony launched with an action-packed Open Event supported by two experienced Beavers Team Leaders and Young Leaders from across The Malvern District. We welcomed 9 young people and their parents, who then all returned for the Four Week Challenge to find out more about what Scouting is all about and to start working towards some badges.
On Tuesday 16th December the new Beavers and their team of 3 volunteers were invested, proudly making their Beaver Scout Promise and receiving their badges and neckers for the very first time. The celebrations continued with a festive Christmas party packed with games, singing and festive fayre.
Our thanks go to everyone who has helped to get the colony started. We wish the Beavers at Scouts 1st Malvern Wells every success as they begin their adventures in Scouting.
