First Response – Modules 10A & 10B

Date: 18th October 2026 All Day Event Location: 1st Worcester Scout HQ, Norton Road, Worcester, WR5 3BB LTM: Nigel Brooks

A 6-hour face-to-face course meeting Scouts First Response requirements (as outlined on scouts.org.uk) delivered by accredited Scout volunteers. AED (Defibrillator) training is now standard on this course. Attendees will not receive a certificate as The First Response Course is designed specifically for adults in Scouts, based on the situations and issues that occur within the movement.

The course will run from 9.30 am until 4.30 pm on Sunday 20th September 2026.

A maximum of 12 places are available.

You do not need to wear Scout uniform but as this training requires you to demonstrate CPR and the recovery position, comfortable clothing is advised. Please bring a packed lunch. Drinks will be provided.

For attendees within Scouts Worcester, the course fee can be claimed back from your group after attendance. We welcome attendees from outside Scouts Worcester; however the policy for expensing training may vary outside of Scouts Worcester.

For further information, please contact Nigel Brooks at first.response@scoutsworcester.org.
