Nomitations for Scouts Hereford and Worcester Leader Celebrations 2019

Nominations are now open for the County Celebrations and Awards.

The adult awards for nominations are:

  • County Scout Group of the Year
  • County Unit of the Year
  • County District of the Year
  • County Leader of the Year
  • County Section Leader of the Year
  • County DC of the Year
  • County GSL of the Yer
  • Best Programme of the Year
  • Best Camp Programme of the Year

Any one can nominate a person, scout group/unit/disttict. The catergories of:

  • Most Nights Away
  • Most Grown Group

will be taken from OSM and census data, with Nights away via the County service form.

The context of the awards are simply based on the Scouting programme and the Scout Law, basing the decision on the ethos of Scouting.

Nominations are anonymous, but we do ask if you a leader, parent or young person making the nomination.

The County panel consisting of County Commissioner, Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and District Commissioners will take and award the nominations, with the top three nominations being notified by email by 1st November 2019.

Closing date for nominations will be the 11/10/2019

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
