County Day – Nights Away Holder Get Together 2024
I hope this message finds you well. As you know, many exciting changes are happening in Scouting at the moment, and it’s always refreshing to come together and discuss these developments.
Holding an activity permit is a privilege, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your ongoing support of our young people. We recognise that the skills required for a Nights Away permit are substantial, and we appreciate your dedication.
To support all Nights Away Permit holders and their continuous learning obligations, we are thrilled to announce our first “Nights Away Permit Holder” get-together. This event will be a fantastic opportunity to:
- Understand new and updated rules and Scouting positions following the various safety updates
- Confirm our understanding of the permit requirements
- Share new ideas and best practices
- Provide a forum for Q&A
We strongly encourage everyone to attend, and for those of you who are Nights Away Assessors, attendance is considered mandatory.
During this event, we will cover a range of important topics, including:
- Risk and safety approaches
- The latest trends in Nights Away activities
- Challenges we face and the support available to overcome them
This gathering will be incredibly beneficial, and we look forward to your active participation. Please save the date and join us for a productive and engaging session.
Location – Worcester Cricket Club, 2pm to 5pm
We ask that your register your attendance here prior to coming by the 15/09/2024.
