It’s Back! Following the success of the first ShireHike in 2023, ScoutsHW is pleased to be running the event again, this time based out of Colwall on the western slopes of the Malvern Hills.

The event will run throughout Saturday 9th March and 4 lengths of hike are available. The longest (recommended for Scouts, Explorers, Network and leaders) is 37km and this will take you to the highest point of the Malvern Hills, the Worcestershire Beacon, which stands at 425m above sea level, and is also the highest point in Worcestershire.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
