Woodbeads from Lord Baden-Powell

Woodbeads from the Chief Scout

On the 3rd July 1937, the Chief Scout planted a tree in our Kinver Campsite. As the tree grew so has Scouting. We now have a magnificent tree situated in ancient woodlands watching our Scouting.

As we look towards our Jamboree in 2023 and celebrating Kinver Campsites centenary, we are selling Woodbeads made from the Lord Baden-Powell’s own tree. The woodbeads are made by the incumbent County Commissioner who is raising funds for particpants attending the jamboree. All profits made will support Scouting.

The woodbeads will cost £25 if you live the UK, elsewhere the cost is £30. All payments to be made using the links below.

These beads will be limited edition, boxed with a leather necklace. They will come complete with a card confirming their authenticity. The wooden beads will be treated from its donor tree.

To order please use these links depending on where you live:

Please allow upto 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Nature and the outdoors are languages that can be learned. Once you identify a beech tree, tie a clove hitch or cook a simple meal over a fire that you’ve built yourself, you’ll never forget it.'
