Woodbeads from Lord Baden-Powell

Woodbeads from Lord Baden-Powell

Woodbeads from the Chief Scout

On the 3rd July 1937 the Chief Scout planted a tree at our Kinver Campsite. As the tree grew so did Scouting. We now have a magnificent tree situated in ancient woodlands watching over our Scouting.

As we look towards the next Jamboree in 2023 and celebrate Kinver Campsite’s centenary, we are selling Woodbeads made from Lord Baden-Powell’s own tree. The woodbeads are made by the incumbent County Commissioner who is raising funds for participants attending the jamboree. All profits will support Scouting.

The woodbeads and postage cost a donation of £25 if you live the UK or £30 if you live elsewhere. All payments can be made using the links below.

These beads come with a necklace and are a limited edition. They will come in a presentation box along with a card confirming their authenticity. Sizes of beads may vary in size depending on the branches used.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
